Story

Meet Our Founder - Agish Kavithil

Growing up, I was a chubby kid. Even though I was a national-level swimmer and a competitive athlete who played multiple sports, I never looked like one. I wasn’t confident in my own body. At 14, driven by the desire to change how I looked and felt, I stepped into a gym for the very first time.

Back then, fitness felt confusing. There was too much noise – too many diets, too many “gurus,” and too many quick fixes. I had no idea who or what to trust. But I kept showing up. Day after day. And eventually, things started to change. I saw definition for the first time, felt strength I’d never felt before, and experienced the thrill of seeing my own abs in the mirror. That feeling of confidence was addictive. It made me believe that my potential was limitless.

"What began as a desire to change my body turned into a journey of discovering my limitless potential."

From Curiosity to Obsession
What started as curiosity turned into obsession. At 17, I stepped onto the stage for my first bodybuilding competition: the International Natural Bodybuilding Association (INBA) Middle East. I placed 2nd. For a teenager who once hesitated to take his shirt off at the beach, that was a big moment.

A year later, I qualified for the INBA World Championship in Dubai and placed 6th overall. But behind the trophies, something didn’t feel right.

The Monotony and the Missing Piece
I realized that most of what surrounded bodybuilding wasn’t health anymore: it was steroids, unrealistic aesthetics, and a culture of pushing the body in ways that weren’t sustainable. I looked fit. But I couldn’t even sit in a basic squat without pain. I was stiff, constantly tired, and mentally disconnected from the very thing that once made me feel alive.

Even though I was already coaching others, training had become monotonous. I didn’t feel excited to go to the gym anymore. I felt stuck. Empty. I knew deep down that something was missing - not just in my own training, but in the fitness industry itself.

Exploring New Possibilities
I had always admired people who could do incredible things with their bodies: flips, handstands, graceful and powerful movements. So, I started exploring martial arts and different physical disciplines outside the gym.

That’s when I stumbled upon Ido Portal on YouTube. Watching him and his students move changed everything. They weren’t just strong: they were fluid, free, and alive. They weren’t chasing aesthetics. They were embodying what it truly means to be human - to move.

For the first time in years, I felt that spark again. This was the world I had been looking for. I realized how narrow my view of fitness had been. Six years in the gym and I had never truly learned how to move. I had built a body that looked good… but couldn’t do much. That realization changed the course of my life.

Transformation and Sharing Knowledge
I started training under one of Ido Portal’s students based in Dubai. What began as personal exploration soon became my new path. I went from a movement student to a movement practitioner and, eventually, a movement teacher.

I applied everything I learned to my own body and the transformation was profound. I felt freer, more capable, and more alive than ever before. Naturally, I passed that knowledge on to my students. The results were immediate. People who once dreaded workouts began to look forward to their sessions. They weren’t just exercising anymore. They were learning.

The Birth of Movementor
A Life-Changing Event
As my clientele grew, I noticed a pattern. So many people, especially Indians living in Dubai were stuck in the same cycle I had been in years ago. Chasing weight loss. Following gym trends. Living with pain. Feeling disconnected from their own bodies.
No one was teaching them how to understand their bodies.
That’s why I created Movementor, not as another fitness program, but as a revolutionary movement education system. A place where people can build strength, flexibility, and resilience while actually enjoying the process.
Movementor is built for real people: with pain, busy schedules, weight struggles, injuries, and a fear of the gym. It’s designed to create long-lasting transformation from the inside out, not temporary results.

Why I Built Movementor
➤ To help people move pain-free without relying on pills, surgeries, or quick fixes.

➤ To give Indians around the world access to world-class coaching right from the comfort of their home.

➤ To create a community of movers, not gym-goers.

➤ To build a coaching system that evolves with science, not trends.

➤ To redefine what “fitness” truly means: strength, mobility, confidence, and freedom.

My Mission

My journey started with insecurity. It grew into discipline. It transformed through movement.
Today, my mission is simple — to help people unlock their potential through smart, meaningful, and sustainable movement. I want to make training something people love again.

Because with the right mentor and the right knowledge, everything can change — just like it did for me.
